I’ve been a big fan of Threadless but neverthless ordered any tees from them, took my chance to order a few with my $25 Gift Certificate that I won from RetailMeNot Widget content a few months back. And to add more joy, Threadless Spring Sale just started with Tees from $5 and I grabbed 4 beautiful tees!

From Wikipedia: “Threadless is a community-centered online apparel store run by skinnyCorp of Chicago, Illinois, since 2000. Co-founders Jake Nickell and Jacob DeHart started the company with $1,000 in seed money after entering an Internet t-shirt design contest.”
I remember the days when I used search over Google & Yahoo! to find a perfect Avatar (Virtual Identity) for placing at Discussion Forums & Instant Messengers. Later I found having my personal picture was more pleasing to myself and friends, but I happened to check Face Your Managa and spent few minutes playing around it to create a true virtual identity of myself and the result was fabulous! (check the picture at right side)
FaceYourManga.com isn’t the first company to come up with a service of this sort, as Yahoo! Avatars and few other companies have been around for a while!
Yahoo! had a way tot much of customization options which sometimes use to bore a hell out of me and I never did actually spend time trying out others. I happened to check @Mashable’s tweet yesterday which interested me to try the service and after few minutes I had my new virtual avatar ready! Believe me or not, I instantly changed my Twitter display picture with the one I generated from FaceYourManag.com!

Not only does it look cool but it does resemble a lot in me (I did spend some time tweaking the avatar to bring a look-alike of me) and I simply liked it

Monday! My first day at work as Search Engine Optimiser at Juretic Meida (Creative Internet Marketing Agency). Had a great time knowing my role, tweaking around my e-mail account, support and extranet logins. I just saw how organized a commercial work is.
I was bit nervous about my environment at office before I arrived but the scenario was totally different, people were so welcoming and cool!
Being the start of week, everybody were busy with their work. The project manager helped me with setting up my account and helping me get used to their internal system which was developed in-house and it was just brilliant. Robert, gave me a good start by providing me a brief up about our clients and tasks associated with it.
Neven made sure I was comfortable around and I was gladder when people in spite of their busy schedule found time to email me welcoming for job and made sure I was going good. Having an office near to one of the best beach in United Kingdom (Brighton Marina) and with my colleagues being ultra cool I wouldn’t have wanted anything more. Spent sometime after lunch analysing and getting my work started.
Came back home in evening, myself along with couple of friends went for a small trekking on a hill near to my home. I never knew we had such a magnificent place! Went to the top of hill, had a great time and it was rock-on-roll while getting down.. great adventure I must say.
Cool work and crazy adventure in evening. Spice dinner at night..! Glad things are moving around too good. Great start for the week.. Will update more as my work and freaky adventure continues around.
Cheers! Have a great week ahead!
What a great way to start a month with a confirmation on your Job Offer! Yeap, I am very glad to announce through my blog that I have been recruited as Search Engine Optimiser at Juretic Media.
Established in 2001, Juretic Media is an Internet Marketing Agency based in the centre of Brighton. It’s a great place to live and work, with the sea just a stone’s throw from the office. Brighton is the silicon beach of the UK and has attracted a whole host of amazing and successful media companies. It’s a great place to keep your finger on the pulse of the latest technologies and web trends.
It’s been a great and to be precise the best experience I had through my interview process, people following me over this blog would have known about my previous experience here, here and here. Juretic Media is par excellence in recruitment process and I had spent quality time from day 1 since when I met Mr. Neven Juretic (Director, Juretic Media).

To wrap things simpler, applied for this position after receiving an RSS Alert from Wired Sussex on July 20th 2008, to my surprise I got an response the very next day (which doesn’t happen or never happens with most other companies) with a kind response requesting my availability on Tuesday (23.08.2008) and as any enthusiastic candidate would do, I confirmed mine very soon after receiving the email.
The interesting twist here was, Juretic Media were looking out candidates with Commercial Experience, and my CV carried no information on my experience over SEO/M and the email I had received also explained me about it and the reason they were interested was because of my CV and Websites (URL’s in CV!) , which they reviewed (and found interesting) and invited me for an interview.
If Hollywood is connected through MySpace.. here comes our very own Kollywood connected through FaceBook. When ever I used to visit a Hollywood Celebrity’s profile at MySpace.. I would wonder when would this happen in our Indian Cine Industry - Celebrities connected to their Friends,Fans & Well Wishers via Social Networking Platform? Networking has it own advantage on the web, you get to know what your fans look for from you and in your movies and one of the best ways to promote movies (free marketing) ! Think about the Hollywood’s largest production house hosting their profile in MySpace for promoting to millions of MySpace users in USA & worldwide!
Yea.. Networking & Marketing over the web has eventually seen a bigger rise but what really surprised me through my last weekend was most of Indian Celebrities are seen in FaceBook, but atleast I took some pain in finding about Celebrities of Kollywood who are seen in larger number.
Fancy a tour to Google’s Head Quarters at Zürich, Switzerland? Not many can think about it but if you are interesting to view them visually over the web, here they are. Some of exclusive pictures of Google’s Interior from Zurich Office. The office is just too beautiful as the Country is.
A tour of Google’s Zurich HQ, where staff ride a slide to lunch and shimmy down a fireman’s pole.
Don’t forget to check the related links (BBC) page where a video containing these location exists. Very interesting read.
Few weeks back it was Indian’s occuping the 3 places in top 10 Richest Man in the World, not so long is now TATA and Reliance joining the league of Worlds’ Most Innovative Companies released by Business Week Magazine in USA with corroboration of Boston Consulting Group.
TATA leads in the list, standing at 6th position whilst Reliance Industries at 19th position. IBN Live has detailed article about this if you are interested, click here.
About Tata group, BusinessWeek said that “Mumbai-based conglomerate jumps onto our list for the first time, fuelled by its paradigm-busting 2,500 dollar ‘Nano’ car for the masses”.
“The car, from its Tata Motors unit, is the world’s cheapest, thanks partly to a distribution model that sells the auto in kits to entrepreneurs who assemble them for buyers.”
About RIL, it noted that “the Indian petrochemicals giant made it onto our list this year thanks to fans of its aggressive growth.
