My First Order at Threadless

I’ve been a big fan of Threadless but neverthless ordered any tees from them, took my chance to order a few with my $25 Gift Certificate that I won from RetailMeNot Widget content a few months back. And to add more joy, Threadless Spring Sale just started with Tees from $5 and I grabbed 4 beautiful tees!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Its 12:00 AM (IST), Wished my Mom on her B’Day..! Life kept me busy in the Weekends, I even forgot to wish her “Mother’s Day”.. tried my best to contact her over the phone but alas.. missed the opportunity. May 13th, roughly 45 years back, my sweetest mom came to this earth! God.. I should really thank you for the sweetest love and affection I have been having from her all these years and I only wish it stayed with me forever!

She’s been more than a mom, a friend, a well wisher.. you name it and she would have donned the position. She is almost more than a super mom, and as every affectionate son says.. the best Mom in the world. Had rang to my parents today and suddenly dad pointed about my mom’s day tomorrow (IST), I was shocked… I almost forget her day… damn me! The time was around 11:30 PM (IST) and in about 30 minutes came her bday.. no clue what to do.. asked them to cut the call (saying I would call them back in couple of minutes).

Gautham Menon - First Break

My First Break - Gautham Menon (Film Directory - Kollywood)

I started as Rajeev Menon’s associate in his advertisement films and also in his film Minsara Kanavu. When G. B. Vijay who directed Kalaignan started doing advertisement films, I was given more work. This gave me a sense of confidence and I started searching for independent jobs.

I met Madhavan through my friend Mannu. He started to work for Mani Ratnam’s Alaipayude. We decided to do a film and he introduced me to Vipul Shah and there I met Dr. Murali Manohar who later became the producer of Minnale. As my first film, I was happy to work on the subject of Minnale. By the time the film was released, the songs had already become popular. How it felt I was happy to learn the film had become a hit. Soon Vasu Bagnani bought the Hindi rights and my friends told it was a good start for me.

Creative Advertisements - am a Big fan of it. Not just creative ad. anything thats simple, unique and best in what its supposed to convey. Starting today I thought I would frequent my blog with some my favorite and best advertisements from Indian/International Industry.

Anything thats interesting and takes a pick in my eye will be here, not any random pictures only those that deserve to be here in my Weblog. Today is “Tamil New Years Day” and this is Bru’s sweet way to greet its consumers.

I like its tag line at bottom of the ad “Happiness Happens with Bru!“. The advertisement also carries a message “May You Have The Best of Life’s Experiences Over Cups and Cups of Bru - Happy New Year“.

Happy Tamil New Years Day 2008! Expect more such sweet and unique advertisements or at least something that could add some feast to your eyes…!

Creativity Unleashed

Some of the best illustrations for “Creativity Unleashed“, I found this bunch of wall paper designs whilst browsing around the net yesterday. Upped them in Orkut Albums and named it “Creativeness Unlimited” but a friend of mine (Vineetha!) tipped me with “Creativity Unleashed” which did make a good sense and hence the title !
