Not much did people in Kollywood (Tamil Film Industry) explore body building on-screen, but its becoming a trendsetter (or fashion) these days. The only actor who I knew had a good body in Kollywood industry was Sarath Kumar (former Mr. Madras) but that being his passion and profession he maintained it, but explore the last 10 years, have we ever seen actors with good physique? This has been in rise in Bollywood, started with Salman Khan (very popular for his physique and body), every upcoming actor in Bollywood went with the trend. Back in Tamil Industry, none felt the requirements nor a trend to set.

Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam is a the current title for the forthcoming Tamil film to be directed by Gautham Menon. It stars Trisha Krishnan and four male debutants in the lead roles. I would wonder when would this happen in our Indian Cine Industry - Celebrities connected to their Friends,Fans & Well Wishers via Social Networking Platform? Networking has it own advantage on the web, you get to know what your fans look for from you and in your movies and one of the best ways to promote movies (free marketing) ! Think about the Hollywood’s largest production house hosting their profile in MySpace for promoting to millions of MySpace users in USA & worldwide!
Yea.. Networking & Marketing over the web has eventually seen a bigger rise but what really surprised me through my last weekend was most of Indian Celebrities are seen in FaceBook, but atleast I took some pain in finding about Celebrities of Kollywood who are seen in larger number.
My First Break - Gautham Menon (Film Directory - Kollywood)
I started as Rajeev Menon’s associate in his advertisement films and also in his film Minsara Kanavu. When G. B. Vijay who directed Kalaignan started doing advertisement films, I was given more work. This gave me a sense of confidence and I started searching for independent jobs.
I met Madhavan through my friend Mannu. He started to work for Mani Ratnam’s Alaipayude. We decided to do a film and he introduced me to Vipul Shah and there I met Dr. Murali Manohar who later became the producer of Minnale. As my first film, I was happy to work on the subject of Minnale. By the time the film was released, the songs had already become popular. How it felt I was happy to learn the film had become a hit. Soon Vasu Bagnani bought the Hindi rights and my friends told it was a good start for me.
