I <3 Social Media!
OMG! Sometimes I think is it really me doing these… but god hell.. indeed its me! Sleepless night…burning Days…to get them done..! The problem is that I push my work towards the edge of time.. and that causes the both said prior. Believe me or not, I did put some effort getting my course work and a presentation done in past few days.
I had to submit a Analysis in Amazon.com as my course work for Management for E-Commerce which indeed I surpassed my deadline and submitted towards the end of it. Taught me a good lesson to spend time learning about the Internet Ocean Amazon! And most importantly, I understand the value of getting it done within Deadline which gives the true output of effort we srtive to bring out!

Learning is fun when you have passion for it and its the best when you learn on the subject of your choice. I spent a quality day today learning something really productive, today also happened to be career boost day. So let me try to review them down how the day really shaped out to be a productive one.
Had a pleasant night yesterday after 4 days of no-sleeping at all. Had two meetings, one with a Bryan (US) and Vijay (India), I would be teaming up with Bryan to assist him with his Affiliate Marketing, which he has been successful in the past few years. Whilst I am new to this field, I have an extensive knowledge about the general logic behind how it works. Thanks to RK aka Radhakrishnan, my bud who referred me to Bryan! After a small chat and basic introduction, Bryan started to feel comfortable with me and eventually went ahead and picking me up for the job. We would be closely associated with various campaigns for Product Launches. I shouldn’t revealing more about the job and services we do, as I should be tight-lipped when it comes to Professional ethics! So another add-on to my career as “Affiliate Marketer” a more of “Search Engine Marketing”, “Social Media Marketing” or “Internet Marketing” - a field which I had a lot of passion and did few analysis on them. Bryan was glad I could grasp things quickly as he went on explaining my roles and explaining my duties.
LoL! Isn’t the first word which came to you when you saw the funky title for my ‘yet‘ another crazy post about me! The actual phrase as we all know is “Time and Tide wait for no one“, which means no one is so powerful that they can stop the march of time…! But what I wanted to mention here in the funny post is no one can stop the march of me and my timing (horrible!). It was a beautiful day just like other day at Brighton, got up very early and wanted to attend my classes in morning session (which I had been skipping for past two weeks!). It was 9 AM when I stepped out, whilst I had my class at 9…reached University at 9:10 AM but still had hopes to attend the session (sincere huh!).
Stepped in to lecture hall only to find a ‘Japanese’ lecturer taking a class that I had no clue what it was and looking at students, who weren’t bothered to see who was entered the class (probably sleeping?) and to my disappoint I couldn’t identify anyone… as there was a different lecture going on. Came out with frustration as I really wanted to attend the session on but it was a mess. I didn’t know what was happening around, rang my friend who keeps ending my call & no response to my text! I didn’t want go home as I was really interested in doing something productive (believe me!!). Moving towards Library…. planning what I will be doing there,… spend an hour or so reading articles from TechCrunch and other sites.

My most favorite HD (High Definition) Video site Stage6 is shutting down, which is a bad and sad news to fans like me and millions other. Just saw an RSS update from TechCrunch which explained the reason behind it. The site would completely close on February 28th 2008, until which users are allowed to view the video. The upload facility has already been locked, poor guys at DivX Inc, couldn’t manage the expense that Stage6 costed! One of the best Video Sharing sites I have ever come across, you can watch the DVD Quality movies in Full Screen without single part of the resolution getting pixalated!
I should also agree to the fact that, lot of copyrighted high quality video content existed there and the pressure could be because of this. And they did allow people to download the video as .divx format which should have burned the servers! But I will be missing them a lot!
*sob* *sob* .. Miss you Stage6 and kudos to the team behind this wonderful creation !! You can check the blog post from its employee who has provided complete details about the service being stopped! So you *greedy* users and fans of Stage6, go watch/download the videos of your favorites for you gonna miss them forver!

Technology is advancing and the population is growing. Names are being recyled, two different people leading separate lives can have the same name, the same idenity. We bar code our products to find an individual item, so why not bar code ourselves? Once we do that, why don’t we just put our life story in it, so once it’s scanned they can know everything from our name and address to our high school test scores? Once we bar code ourselves where will we stop? Will we still have our freedom?
